This is a local launcher/search plugin that discovers windows, tabs, buffers, and agent sessions using validated subprocess calls, procfs reads, and AT-SPI. The deterministic 'obfuscation' findings are only NUL/escape sequences in test fixtures that verify command-injection safety, not hidden logic. The code is defensive, uses argv arrays rather than shell strings, validates same-user ownership of sockets/processes, and authenticates activation tokens, with no persistence, credential theft, or destructive behavior found.

  • The plugin may temporarily enable the AT-SPI accessibility bus if it is disabled, which exposes accessible UI data to the plugin during scans; this side effect is not highlighted in the README.
  • The plugin has broad, expected access to local desktop state (process command lines, environment variables for routing, Hyprland IPC), though each access path is designed to be same-user and bounded.
How this check works

This review combines the deterministic scan (the rule-based results above) with an independent look at the plugin's code by a language model. The model reads a trimmed sample of the repository's files, the manifest, and the README, then gives a plain-language risk level and a recommendation: install (no notable danger), review (look closer first), or avoid (clearly dangerous).

It runs on the same analyzed commit as the deterministic scan and is strictly advisory — it is not a security guarantee and never blocks a plugin by itself. A human moderator still reviews plugins before they are listed.
