No issues found in the sampled code. The plugin is a standard display management panel with no malicious behavior, using expected system commands and file operations.

How this check works

This review combines the deterministic scan (the rule-based results above) with an independent look at the plugin's code by a language model. The model reads a trimmed sample of the repository's files, the manifest, and the README, then gives a plain-language risk level and a recommendation: install (no notable danger), review (look closer first), or avoid (clearly dangerous).

It runs on the same analyzed commit as the deterministic scan and is strictly advisory — it is not a security guarantee and never blocks a plugin by itself. A human moderator still reviews plugins before they are listed.

AI advisory only — automated analysis, not a security guarantee.

Install
$ omarchy plugin add https://github.com/Apagafuegos/omarchy-display-panel --enable
System #Hyprland #bar #system

Omarchy Display Panel

A custom Omarchy bar widget for managing displays without leaving the shell.

Features

  • Display brightness
  • Shell and GTK text size
  • Per-display scaling and refresh-rate selection
  • A DISPLAY pill row to pick which monitor the per-monitor controls target, so any screen can be configured from whichever display the panel is opened on
  • Draggable virtual monitor arrangement with automatic edge snapping — displays always settle flush against a neighbor so the pointer can move between them continuously
  • Arrangement edits are staged and applied only when you press Apply
  • Settings (scale, refresh rate, arrangement) are remembered across sessions and restored on startup or when a display is connected
  • Display enable and disable controls

The arrangement map uses each monitor's logical dimensions. Dragging a display stages a new position; Apply commits it to Hyprland and saves it.

Install

omarchy plugin add https://github.com/Apagafuegos/omarchy-display-panel.git --enable

If needed, place it in the right section of the bar:

omarchy plugin enable display.panel --section right

Remove

omarchy plugin remove display.panel

This removes the plugin from the bar and deletes its local copy. Your display configuration in ~/.config/hypr/monitors.lua is left untouched.

Requirements

  • Omarchy 4 or newer
  • Hyprland with Omarchy's Lua configuration support
