Site Health
Install and remove it with Omarchy's plugin commands:
omarchy plugin add https://github.com/AiHKhaled/omarchy-site-health.git --enable
omarchy plugin remove elijah.site-health
Site Health monitors endpoint reachability, latency, HTTP responses, and TLS certificate expiry from an Omarchy bar widget. The bar stays icon-only; click it for per-site details, then click a row to open that endpoint.
After installation, click the widget and choose Manage. Add each URL and optional display name, then choose Save sites. The plugin writes the sites to Omarchy's existing shell configuration for you; no JSON editing or restart is required.
Configure it inline in ~/.config/omarchy/shell.json:
{
"id": "elijah.site-health",
"intervalSeconds": 60,
"thresholds": {
"latencyMs": 2000,
"httpFailure": 400,
"certExpiryDays": 14,
"consecutiveFailures": 2
},
"sites": [
{ "url": "https://example.com", "name": "Example" },
{ "url": "https://status.example.com" }
]
}
Only url is required. name defaults to the URL hostname. Healthy sites use
the theme's green role, latency/HTTP/certificate warnings use yellow/accent,
and failures use red/urgent. The checker uses only curl, jq, openssl,
awk, and date already available on a standard Omarchy install.
The plugin is licensed under MIT. It stores only latency history under
~/.local/state/site-health; site configuration remains in Omarchy's
shell.json.
Thresholds are optional and use these defaults:
intervalSeconds: check interval, from 5 seconds to 24 hours (60)latencyMs: total response time at which a successful check is degraded (2000)httpFailure: 4xx status at or above which a response is degraded (400); 5xx is downcertExpiryDays: certificate warning window (14); an expired certificate is downconsecutiveFailures: failed checks before a site is down (2); earlier failures are degraded
