Hide Bar on Video Fullscreen
An Omarchy shell service that hides the status bar only on the monitor that is playing a fullscreen video.

[!IMPORTANT] This plugin is for Omarchy 4 (Quattro), where the desktop shell and bar use Quickshell. It is not intended for older Omarchy releases that use Waybar.
Behavior
- Hides the bar on a monitor whose active fullscreen window is a video.
- Leaves the bar visible on every other monitor.
- Super+F on a terminal, Discord, or a normal webpage keeps the bar.
- Detects YouTube and other video sites in browsers, plus players such as mpv and VLC.
- Restores that monitor's bar when you leave fullscreen.
The plugin does not change Hyprland config or shell.json layout. It only
parks the live bar surface on the affected screen and releases its exclusive
zone.
Requirements
- Omarchy with the Quickshell bar
- Hyprland

Security
This plugin runs unsandboxed inside omarchy-shell when enabled. Review its
source before installing it.
It does not:
- Run external commands
- Read or write files
- Access the network
- Install keybindings
- Change
shell.jsonor Hyprland config
It talks only to the already-running Omarchy bar and to Hyprland IPC, so it can see window titles, classes, and fullscreen state, then hide the bar on the matching monitor.
