The plugin manages NetworkManager profiles and static routes through a bundled bash helper invoked with explicit argument arrays, and no shell injection, obfuscation, hidden persistence, or destructive install-time behavior was found. The deterministic scan found nothing, and the independent review agrees there is no malicious code. The only risk is the intended, user-initiated ability to change persistent network configuration.

  • The helper performs privileged NetworkManager modifications, but only in response to explicit UI actions and with input validation; values are passed as argv rather than evaluated by a shell.
  • Routes added through the plugin persist in NetworkManager profiles after the plugin is removed, which is clearly documented in the README and is an expected side effect of the plugin's purpose.
How this check works

This review combines the deterministic scan (the rule-based results above) with an independent look at the plugin's code by a language model. The model reads a trimmed sample of the repository's files, the manifest, and the README, then gives a plain-language risk level and a recommendation: install (no notable danger), review (look closer first), or avoid (clearly dangerous).

It runs on the same analyzed commit as the deterministic scan and is strictly advisory — it is not a security guarantee and never blocks a plugin by itself. A human moderator still reviews plugins before they are listed.

AI advisory only — automated analysis, not a security guarantee.

Network Routes for Omarchy

  • Conecta e desconecta perfis existentes

Instale e habilite diretamente do GitHub:

omarchy plugin add https://github.com/denisdmarques/omarchy-network-routes.git --enable

Para testar diretamente a cópia local:

mkdir -p ~/.config/omarchy/plugins
ln -s "$PWD" ~/.config/omarchy/plugins/io.github.denisdmarques.network-routes
omarchy-shell shell rescanPlugins
omarchy plugin enable io.github.denisdmarques.network-routes
omarchy bar move io.github.denisdmarques.network-routes --section right

omarchy plugin remove io.github.denisdmarques.network-routes

Exemplos:

Família Destino Gateway Métrica
IPv4 10.20.0.0/16 192.168.1.1 100
IPv4 172.16.30.8/32 vazio 50
IPv6 fd00:20::/64 fe80::1 100

omarchy bar set io.github.denisdmarques.network-routes refreshIntervalSec 10

omarchy bar set io.github.denisdmarques.network-routes privacyMode true --json

Restaure a exibição normal com:

omarchy bar set io.github.denisdmarques.network-routes privacyMode false --json

Desenvolvimento

O helper pode ser usado separadamente:

./network-routes list
./network-routes routes UUID 4
./network-routes add UUID 4 10.20.0.0/16 192.168.1.1 100
./network-routes delete UUID 4 "10.20.0.0/16 192.168.1.1 100"
./network-routes apply UUID
