Nextcloud Notes for Omarchy Quattro
Open and edit notes from a self-hosted Nextcloud Notes app in a small Omarchy top-bar panel.
Features

Install
omarchy plugin add https://github.com/JakeWayneMurray/Omarchy-NextCloud-Notes.git --enable
Click the ▤ icon and enter the base Nextcloud URL, such as
https://cloud.example.com. HTTP URLs are rejected because the Notes API
uses Basic authentication. Use an app password if your account uses
two-factor authentication.
Dependencies and permissions
- Omarchy Quattro and its standard QML imports.
- Python 3 standard library; no Python packages are installed.
secret-tooland a Secret Service provider for password storage.
The helper runs as the logged-in user, makes authenticated HTTPS requests to the configured server, and stores only the URL and username in its mode-0600 config file. The password is stored in the desktop keyring. Use HTTPS because the Notes API uses HTTP Basic authentication for each request.
Remove
omarchy plugin remove io.github.jakewaynemurray.nextcloud-notes
Removing the plugin removes the bar widget but does not delete notes or the keyring entry.
