This plugin is a self-contained QML overlay that generates color palettes and copies hex values to the clipboard via wl-copy with validated, non-interpolated arguments. The deterministic scan found nothing, and the visible code has no network access, no install-time commands, no persistence, and no destructive behavior. The only minor caveat is that the sampled Overlay.qml excerpt appears truncated mid-expression, but nothing in the reviewed code is dangerous.

How this check works

This review combines the deterministic scan (the rule-based results above) with an independent look at the plugin's code by a language model. The model reads a trimmed sample of the repository's files, the manifest, and the README, then gives a plain-language risk level and a recommendation: install (no notable danger), review (look closer first), or avoid (clearly dangerous).

It runs on the same analyzed commit as the deterministic scan and is strictly advisory — it is not a security guarantee and never blocks a plugin by itself. A human moderator still reviews plugins before they are listed.

Install

omarchy plugin add https://github.com/rookepoole/omarchy-palette-prism.git --enable

Open and use

omarchy-shell shell summon io.github.rookepoole.palette-prism '{}'
  • Space or Enter generates a new harmony.
  • Click a swatch or press 1–5 to copy its hex code.
  • Escape closes the overlay.

Dependencies and permissions

Requires Omarchy Quattro and wl-copy from wl-clipboard (installed by Omarchy). Clipboard copy passes only a generated #[0-9A-F]{6} value as a direct process argument—no shell interpolation. The plugin makes no network requests, requests no privileges, and writes no files.
