The plugin is a read-only system monitor that runs a fixed, non-interpolated shell command to read /proc/loadavg, /proc/meminfo, and `df -P /`. It makes no network requests, writes no files, and requests no privileges beyond normal desktop widget operation. The deterministic scan found no issues, and manual review confirms the code is benign.

How this check works

This review combines the deterministic scan (the rule-based results above) with an independent look at the plugin's code by a language model. The model reads a trimmed sample of the repository's files, the manifest, and the README, then gives a plain-language risk level and a recommendation: install (no notable danger), review (look closer first), or avoid (clearly dangerous).

It runs on the same analyzed commit as the deterministic scan and is strictly advisory — it is not a security guarantee and never blocks a plugin by itself. A human moderator still reviews plugins before they are listed.

System Pulse

A quiet Omarchy bar widget for one-minute load, memory use, and root-disk pressure. It deliberately reports a small set of slow-changing signals instead of pretending to be a full monitoring suite.

Install

omarchy plugin add https://github.com/rookepoole/omarchy-system-pulse.git --enable

Click the heart to open the detail panel. Press Enter to refresh immediately. The bar mark changes when memory or disk pressure crosses 75% and 90%.

Dependencies and permissions

Requires Omarchy Quattro and standard Arch utilities already present on Omarchy: POSIX sh, awk, and df. The probe is a constant command that only reads /proc/loadavg, /proc/meminfo, and df -P /. It interpolates no user input, makes no network requests, requests no privileges, and writes no files.
