The Omarchy plugin is a self-contained Truco card game. The sampled files (README, QML, and JavaScript) contain only game logic, UI definitions, and test code. There is no evidence of network access, shell execution, obfuscation, credential handling, or destructive commands. The state-management code (Model.js) appears to handle game state and persistence in a straightforward manner. The automated scan reported no issues. The only functional risk is that the plugin persists game state to disk, but no details of that are visible in the sample and it is limited to the user's own save file.

  • None identified in the provided files. The code is transparent and performs only in-memory/state operations for a local game.
How this check works

This review combines the deterministic scan (the rule-based results above) with an independent look at the plugin's code by a language model. The model reads a trimmed sample of the repository's files, the manifest, and the README, then gives a plain-language risk level and a recommendation: install (no notable danger), review (look closer first), or avoid (clearly dangerous).

It runs on the same analyzed commit as the deterministic scan and is strictly advisory — it is not a security guarantee and never blocks a plugin by itself. A human moderator still reviews plugins before they are listed.

Game modes

Mode Table
One on one You against the CPU
Pairs (2v2) You and a CPU partner against two CPUs

Pick the mode on the start screen and hit Play. Changing mode starts a new match.

The table

You sit at the bottom, your partner across from you, opponents on the sides, and the vira in the middle. Every seat shows the card it played this round or, until it plays, how many cards it still holds. The card winning the round is highlighted, and a finished round stays on the table until somebody plays again.

Each hand is 3 rounds — win 2 and you take the hand. First to 12 points wins the match.

Features

  • Full truco paulista rules — manilha set by the vira, the truco / six / nine / twelve ladder, hand of eleven and the 11–11 iron hand.
  • Truco animation — a call explodes across the panel, and while the answer is yours a banner above the buttons says what accepting is worth.
  • Hand history — every round lined up in columns, one per player, with the winning card highlighted and the hand result at the end.
  • Contextual hint — for people learning the game: it names the manilha and your best card, tells you what folding costs, explains the hand of eleven.
  • Two languages — the interface ships in Portuguese and English; one button switches, and the choice is saved with the game.
  • Saved game — the match lives in ~/.local/state/omarchy/omatruco.json and resumes exactly where you left it, on every monitor's bar.
  • Light — nothing runs in the background: no polling, and the CPU's timer only exists while it is thinking with the panel open.
