This plugin is a straightforward idle/lock service derived from Omarchy's built-in idle service. It reads numeric/boolean config values, monitors idle state, and invokes fixed Omarchy helper commands (omarchy-launch-screensaver, omarchy-system-lock, omarchy-system-wake) with no user-controlled shell interpolation. No obfuscation, persistence, credential access, or destructive behavior was found.

How this check works

This review combines the deterministic scan (the rule-based results above) with an independent look at the plugin's code by a language model. The model reads a trimmed sample of the repository's files, the manifest, and the README, then gives a plain-language risk level and a recommendation: install (no notable danger), review (look closer first), or avoid (clearly dangerous).

It runs on the same analyzed commit as the deterministic scan and is strictly advisory — it is not a security guarantee and never blocks a plugin by itself. A human moderator still reviews plugins before they are listed.

Install
$ omarchy plugin add https://github.com/manowar65-cloud/parado.idle --enable
System #quickshell #power-management #system

parado.idle

Omarchy idle service with one extra setting: locks screen even with wake locks.

Stock Omarchy idle honors those wake locks, so the screensaver and lock never start. This plugin replaces omarchy.idle and defaults to ignoring them.

Based on Omarchy's built-in idle service.

Install

omarchy plugin add https://github.com/manowar65-cloud/parado.idle.git --enable
omarchy restart shell

Enabling it turns off the built-in omarchy.idle. Removing it restores the built-in.

Settings

In ~/.config/omarchy/shell.json:

"idle": {
  "screensaver": 150,
  "lock": 300,
  "respectInhibitors": false
}
Key Default Meaning
screensaver 150 Seconds idle before screensaver
lock 300 Seconds idle before lock (screen off follows lock)
respectInhibitors false false = lock anyway. true = stock Omarchy (Chrome can block lock)

Stay-awake (coffee-cup indicator) still prevents lock when it is on.
