omarchy-apexshot
A bar button for ApexShot: area capture, screen recording, and full-screen capture on three mouse buttons.

Plugin id: shokupan.apexshot
What it does
Puts one camera button in the bar that drives ApexShot's three most-used
actions. It adopts the same fixed slot width every native right-cluster panel
widget uses (Style.space(27)), so it sits on upstream's own pitch rather than
needing hand-tuned margins or spacer shims.

Dependencies
This plugin requires the apexshot binary, which is not part of Omarchy and
is not shipped here. Install ApexShot first — otherwise the button draws
normally and every click silently does nothing.
ApexShot is a separate third-party project with its own license and its own
packaging; vendoring its binary into a QML plugin repo would be wrong on both
counts, so this repo states the dependency instead of bundling it. Check that
it is on your PATH:
command -v apexshot # /usr/bin/apexshot
apexshot --version # verified against 0.2.34
ApexShot is GPL-3.0-or-later. This plugin does not link against it or include
any of its code — it invokes the binary through a shell command, the same way
any of Omarchy's own widgets invoke omarchy-* scripts — so the two licenses do
not interact.
If you would rather not install ApexShot, the sibling plugin omarchy-capture-button offers the same three clicks on Omarchy's own built-in capture tools, with no external dependency.
Note also that ApexShot's own UI accent colour is compiled into the binary, so its window chrome will not follow your Omarchy theme.
