The plugin is a straightforward QML panel/service that invokes the documented `momentumctl` CLI with fixed, non-injectable arguments to read headset status and change settings. The deterministic scan's medium finding is a `git clone` in the CI workflow used only for validation, not part of the installed plugin, so it poses no runtime risk to users.

How this check works

This review combines the deterministic scan (the rule-based results above) with an independent look at the plugin's code by a language model. The model reads a trimmed sample of the repository's files, the manifest, and the README, then gives a plain-language risk level and a recommendation: install (no notable danger), review (look closer first), or avoid (clearly dangerous).

It runs on the same analyzed commit as the deterministic scan and is strictly advisory — it is not a security guarantee and never blocks a plugin by itself. A human moderator still reviews plugins before they are listed.

Requirements

  • Omarchy Quattro
  • momentumctl installed and available on PATH
  • A paired and connected Sennheiser headset supported by momentumctl

momentumctl uses a reverse-engineered Sennheiser protocol. Features may vary with headset firmware. This plugin does not implement firmware updates, factory resets, or undocumented commands.

Install

Install momentumctl.

Review the plugin, then install it:

omarchy plugin add https://github.com/timmo001/omarchy-momentumctl.git

For an unattended install from a repository you already trust:

omarchy plugin add \
  https://github.com/timmo001/omarchy-momentumctl.git \
  --enable --yes

Open the panel through its shell IPC target:

omarchy-shell shell toggle timmo.momentumctl

Bind that command to a desktop hotkey for direct access.

In the panel, Up and Down move between controls, Enter activates the selected one, and Left and Right adjust transparency or anti-wind. Type to filter the controls, and press Escape to clear the filter or close the panel.

Update

omarchy plugin update timmo.momentumctl

Remove

omarchy plugin remove timmo.momentumctl

Validate

mise run check
